The aim of this practical is to analyse a sample of water and then to purify the water through a process of purification.
Background information
Water purification is the process of removing impurities from water to make it suitable for drinking. In this practical, you will measure the pH of a water sample, remove impurities by distillation, and check the purity of the water by measuring the boiling point.
