Abiotic and Biotic Factors

This lesson covers:

  1. What 'biotic factors' are
  2. What 'abiotic factors' are

The terms biotic factors and abiotic factors are hard to describe. The main thing you need to be able to do though is classify factors, such as predation or light intensity, as biotic or abiotic.

factors are also known as living factors, and refer to processes by which one living organism affects other living organism in its environment.
