What are 2 disadvantages of lifecycle assessments?

  1. It's hard to give pollutants a numerical value of impact and therefore the value of each pollutant will be subjective, and probably biased.
  2. Selective LCAs can be biased to deliberately support a company. For example, a car company may do an LCA that makes its car look more environmentally friendly than it really is.
