About us

Cognito was founded in 2018 by Amadeus & Tom, on the belief that education plays a vital role in providing opportunities and improving wellbeing for people everywhere. We're on a mission to redefine what students expect from digital learning materials, and to create resources that are not only expertly-curated, but beautiful to look at and fun to use.

As of 2023 the Cognito team has grown to almost ten people, and we're currently hard at work expanding the range of academic years and exam boards we cover.

Balancing engaging visuals and concise explanations can be tricky, but we like to think we're getting the hang of it.

Our videos take longer to make than anything else we do, and every single one of them is posted to YouTube to ensure they're freely available to all students.

The platform has been built specifically to make organising your learning as easy as possible: merging intuitive design with powerful, data-driven teaching methods.

We're constantly working on improvements to the platform, always with the aim of delivering a learning tool that puts the student's needs first.
